Washer hoses should never be plain old rubber, over time these hoses deterioate and sometimes burst. Only stainless steel braided hoses should be installed.
Dryers - check venting for kinks, also check outside wall cap any blockage or restrictions.
Venting should be at least cleaned and check every early spring and end of fall. Pricing for this service varies for each service company.
Venting that is up to the houseing code shoud only be aluminum pipe with elbows added if necessary. Avoid all plastic and vinyl products. Also dryer vents should be aluminum regaurdless of glass block windows. Don't be a victim of a plastic wall cap application.
Refrigeratos/Freezers - Make sure the appliance is plugged in and 120vac is present. If water line is connected to a refrigerator be aware of water shut off usually located near cold water pipe near you home water heater.
Water lines for refrigerators should be copper tubing 1/4in in diamater for the most durable lifespan. Plastic should be avoided at all costs due to lack of flexibility and over time plastic tends to dry out and spring leaks.
No ice or no water in dispensor. Check first water supply valve if open call for service.
Not freezing or cooling. First check to make sure units controls are at the normal setting, usually the middle setting of both controls. If so check warranty paperwork or purchase date, if less than 5 years old any refrigerator/freezer regaurdless of manufacturer make or model all sealed system units have a compressor and sealed system warranty for 5 years, contact manufacturer for warranty service providers.
Range/Ovens - Make sure appliance is plugged in. If gas make sure gas is on. Gas lines should be stainless steel and not a covered gas line like a greyish color if your gas supply line is greyish in color replace immediately. If unit takes to long to cook or food is not cooked at reccomme-
